The new range of AXXYS Squared stairparts does away with lots of different Handrail and Newel post fittings and simply offers only two fittings that will complete 90% of staircase configurations.

Chrome and Oak Stair Parts

AXXYS Squared Chrome Handrail Connector

This is the only handrail connector that you will need to attach your handrail to your newel post. Simply insert your rail into the connector, secure with hidden screws and then attach the connector to the newel post and join the two parts together. This connector can be used to connect the handrail to the newel post at the top of the stairs, at the bottom of the stairs and straight into the landing newel post against a wall. AXXYS Squared Spindles

Two types to choose from, either Landing spindles which are cut to length or “Rake” spindles (up the staircase) which are also cut to length. The spindles fit neatly into the AXXYS Squared Oak hand and base rail without the need of brackets. The fillet strip (infill for between spindles) holds the spindles in place. We recommend that you used a polymer adhesive to secure the fillet strip and spindle in place. AXXYS Squared Handrail and Base Rail

The AXXYS Squared Handrail and Baserail are manufactured from Solid White Oak and are delivered unfinished. Each Rail comes complete with a fillet strip which spaces the spindles evenly and helps secure them in place. The handrail connects to the newel posts with the use of the AXXYS Squared Chrome Handrail Connector and the Base Rail is screwed to the top of the existing stair string.
