Solid Oak Ledged Cottage Door

Our solid oak cottage doors are hand made in the UK using rustic grade American white oak. As it's a rustic grade timber there will be some natural timber defects present in the cottage doors such as knots and splits which add to the doors character making it ideal for use in cottages, period properties and barn conversions.

Finishing

Our oak cottage doors are supplied unfinished and will need to be finished with either a wood stain or oil following installation in order to maintain it's look and to avoid any problems with the door bowing over time.

Available Sizes

Our solid oak cottage doors are available in a choice of three standard sizes. Please use the drop down menu above to choose the required size

• 1981mm x 686mm x 40mm (27")
• 1981mm x 762mm x 40mm (30")
• 1981mm x 838mm x 40mm (33")

Please Note: The planks are 20mm thick and the ledges are 20mm thick giving an overall thickness of 40mm.

Due to the nature of the properties our solid oak cottage doors are used in standard sizes are not always suitable therefore if you have a non standard size please contact us on 01691 671020 and we can arrange a quote for the size you require.

Rustic Grade White Oak

The rustic grade American white oak used to manufacture our cottage doors has been kiln dried to 6-10% moisture content which results in an extremely stable door which is not prone to bowing or warping over time.

Groove Style

Our solid oak cottage doors can be supplied with either a 'V' Groove or a Bead & Butt profile between the planks. Please use the drop down menu able to choose the required groove style.
